These lovely events are organised by some local residents with the aim of bringing the community together for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Come along and bring a neighbour who otherwise might be by themselves! There will be cake…
Parish Guided Walks 2018
Once again the council is pleased to announce that the South Cotswold Ramblers have agreed to lead a series of guided walks round the lanes, paths and byways of the parish.
These are very social affairs and offer a chance to get out and stretch your legs while meeting fellow residents as well as members of the Rambling Club.
They tend to cover between 3 and 5 miles and last up to a couple of hours.
All walks start from the Rodborough Community Hall, Butterrow West and this year’s dates are:
Thursday 28th June at 6.30pm
Across the valley to Selsley – 4.5 miles
Thursday 26th July at 6.30pm
Through Manor Woods to Amberley – 4 miles
Thursday 23rd August at 6.30pm
Canals and railways – 4 miles

Rodborough Scouts public fundraising events
Rodborough Scouts are working towards their World Challenge badge and each patrol has chosen a charity to fundraise and do some practical work for.
All the scouts are working hard to raise funds for their chosen charities. These are the dates for their events – do come along if you can.

Hawks and Panthers have agreed to run a Jam Jar Tombola and sell bird related products.

We also need jam jars, wrapped sweets and small packets of sweets , small toys, stickers, badges, pencils and rubbers for the tombola and raffle prizes. plus bird related products and raffle prizes
Rodborough Scout Troop
The Stroud Valleys in the Great War – exhibition November 3rd-11th
The Five Valleys Great War Researchers are organising a big exhibition to
be held at the Museum in the Park in the week leading up to the centenary
of Armistice Day. The display will include stories, photographs and
artifacts that illustrate life in our five valleys during the Great War.

Rodborough Community Choir
This has been relaunched and will be held every Wednesday during term time at 7pm in the parish church. All welcome. £3 a session. For more information see poster –
